A friend asked that I make an ugly sweater cake for christmas. One thing she requested that the cake have some texture. I must say, I agonized over how to create a textured pattern on the cake. I bought some pattern molds for this and it was an utter disaster. The molds were too small to be of any help. So i decided to use a pattern roller. One of the Wilton types and I must say it worked.
